Found it. And believe it or not, I have nothing to say other than that.
Well, I have plenty to say, but cannot say it here.
I will only post the following:
I am ANGRY, very very ANGRY.
Over and out.
What’s wrong
You should be able to figure out that quite easily. I direct you to events in Washington DC yesterday.
At having our First Amendment rights taken away…..it’s just the start.
Opps – did I say that out loud?
At this point these posts should be titled “Non-Weather Off Topic Chat” lol
Of non-weather off, off topic 😉
Sure is nice to see you here
For those who didn’t see my post yesterday evening, the protests are having an unintentional negative impact on coronavirus testing nationwide (some centers have shut down temporarily).
I didn’t know about that Joshua. Given the current “climate” the last few days, I can understand.
Frankly, I’m not that much of a fan of testing anyway as they are not always even close to accurate (50/50 at best?). Plus, you can test negative one day and two days later, positive. Am I correct on that?
Philip – this is a month old, but gives some indication. I suspect some may have improved more during the past month. I can say that whatever my son’s test was – and I will ask – was accurate.
My Stimulus debit card arrived. Be careful if you don’t have yours. It arrives in an unmarked envelope. Easily confused with junk mail.
Good for you Vicki. My check came in a very “official” looking envelope with no doubt. It was like the old social security ones back in the days before Direct Deposit. My (new) credit cards and bank checks always come in junk mail looking envelopes. I always come dangerously close to just tossing them away. I suppose it does prevent potential thieves in advance.
Vicki, my stimulus debit card arrived, too. Indeed, it looks like junk mail. Not fond of the picture of Mnuchin on the back … (kidding), but I like the stars on the card. I actually love the American flag, by the way. I think it’s the most beautiful flag in the world. Alas, our country’s in deep trouble.
The protests around the world are a natural experiment of sorts. Clearly, social and physical distancing is being ignored, at least outdoors, and by millions of people. If in 2 to 3 weeks we see no change in cases or continued downward trend, we can say either or both of the following:
a. Outdoor transmissibility is limited at best;
b. Virus is weakening
Dutch high schools are back in session. There are strict rules in place. Universities to follow this summer.
Hey the govt did a really great job on my stimulus debit card. They only left off $970.00.
So hmmm I posted re stimulus debit amount and can’t find post.
Joshua, did just see that you got one also. Mine was minus $970.00. Well done
C-19 for 6-3 is up…
