The next 7-14 days are crucial in terms of knowing how much spread there’s been of the virus as a result of protests. Expect some results this week, with next week being even more important. I’m hoping that being outdoors helped limit transmissions. As I’ve said my concern is not so much the protesters. It’s the people they potentially infect – parents, grandparents, people with underlying health conditions.
Thank you Joshua. I felt it had to be some mixup. Glad you are here to help
Massachusetts numbers today are excellent! Very low test positivity. We’re headed in the right direction. Let’s hope the protests didn’t upend things.

Awesome news for today.
Remind me – what’s the incubation period and when we’re the first big protests here?
I’m really trying not to be doom and gloom but until we are out of the woods I’m holding my breath. I’m really worried bc I just don’t see people going back to full distancing even if our numbers are exactly the same as in mid March, I’m kind of nervous about this.
Looks like the big protests started around Sunday 31st and the median incubation period is 4-5 days. Assuming folks waited to contact their docs until today then if we are looking at a big problem we should expect a positive test cases spike around mid week bc most places still take 48 hours to report results,
Ok – I need to learn the rain dance equivalent to make our test cases stay stable this week. Please please please,,,,,
