Vicki, I did not receive your email. Perhaps it got lost in cyberspace.
Spoke to several scientists last night about the various vaccines. They were skeptical about the mRNA platform (eg, Moderna) because of storage issues. mRNA vaccines must be stored and refrigerated at very cold temperatures: <-40C (could be even colder; not sure).
Joshua, I thought I heard a short time ago that there is a possible vaccine being developed that is not temperature dependent. I forget the name of the company producing it.
I believe Sanofi is developing one that doesn’t depend on really cold temperatures for storage. They all need to be refrigerated to some degree, at least that’s my understanding.
Case counts across Europe and the U.S. look a little better today. But, I’m chalking this up to a Sunday effect. Monday data is not always impacted by Sunday, but sometimes it is. I’m seeing some weird numbers today. Hoping for a better handle on the data tomorrow.
Hmmm. I may understand why. I’ll see if I can find and resend. No worries.
This is the problem and this disgusts me. Where are the parents of these kids? But I’m betting they are the same ones who send kids with the flu. They got caught. I’m also betting others won’t.
I don’t understand what is going on with all this partying with young people these days, college and high school age alike.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THERE TO CELEBRATE IN THESE TRYING TIMES ANYWAY?!?!?
Agree. But the parents need to be held accountable….with heavy fines. But then my guess is they do not care. If they did, their kids would not be doing this. Natick. Sudbury.
Philip,,I’m not the least bit surprised. It is one, but not the major, reason my grandkids are remote.
