827 new cases reported today.
Steadily on the rise. This is not good.
Not liking the numbers at all!
Agree. Test positivity is rising, too, at least the 7-day moving average is.
While it ain’t great here in Massachusetts, at least we’re not Belgium, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Missouri, North Dakota, Wisconsin. I’m just naming a few hot spots with super high test positivity, and some major problems brewing for the healthcare systems. I don’t think Baker will let it get that far here. Similar in other Northeast states, and also California and Washington.
Ireland has done well throughout this crisis. Few deaths. The country is experiencing an increase in cases, so it’s shutting non-essentials down for 4-6 weeks. Denmark has done well throughout this crisis. It is not locking down, but it is continuing to do a fantastic job testing (test more than twice our rate), isolating, and contact tracing. Very few deaths (deaths rate more than 5 times lower than neighbor, Sweden).
Somewhere I heard largest number in MA since Memorial Day.

Saw that also, JPD. Beyond worrisome.
