Massachusetts is concerning me, especially now that we’re all indoors more without open windows, etc … Also, most of the positive tests are no longer coming from the college students like they were a month ago. I don’t worry that much about the college students. I do worry about the virus spreading to the vulnerable populations. You can see that hospitalizations are definitely rising.
The good news is that treatments are somewhat better, which translates into lower mortality. Still, it’s hard to see the rising death toll.
I worry that baker is in a bit of a state of denial. Maybe he has stepped back on openings and I missed it. I sure hope I did
Boston Mayor Walsh is all about testing, testing, testing…and MORE testing!
My apologies for being AWOL yesterday- unfortunately when Covid heats up so does my day job 🙁 I just came up for air and headed right here – sorry to have missed Thur’s wonderful conversation!
But just a note to say thanks always for this forum – it’s so nice to have a place of lively and respectful discourse and dissemination of info in a time when fake news is rampant – and I second the desire for something other than an echo chamber right now – bc we really need some bridges started asap as long as it’s intelligent and thoughtful discourse – which here it is. But I hope no one feels hesitant to share the lesser voiced opinions too! I really am trying to learn – even if I get feisty at times in my bright blue corner!
