A person is considered “fully vaccinated” two weeks after the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna two-shot vaccines, or two weeks after a single dose of the J & J one-shot vaccine.
Got my 1st dose of Pfizer/BioNTech; appointment for the 2nd is already made. They were very efficient in that regard.
The place is like a factory. Mostly younger people getting vaccinated, by the way, even though technically it’s the 55 plus group whose turn it is. I know that younger people can get vaccinated if they fall under certain categories. Apparently, there are many such categories. I’m fine with that. It shows that there is very little vaccine hesitancy overall.
I enjoyed the 2 mile walk through some Boston neighborhoods. Roxbury and the South End have changed so much in the past 40 years; and for the better. I give our mayors a lot of credit.
That is good news Joshua. Tomorrow let us know if any reaction (or not). I go back for my second Pfizer dose next Thursday (4/22). From what I understand, that will be the dose with more potential reactions. Fingers crossed there will be none like the first dose.
Joshua, did you get your appointment via the MA website?
I have three of six younger people who qualify. They are all fully vaccinated. One who qualifies does not want one yet. Another who does not qualify does not want one yet. Another will have one next week.
Good to hear, Vicki.
Philip, yes, in the end I booked through the Massachusetts site. They also already booked my 2nd appointment for 3 weeks from today.
C-19 for 4-13 is ready.
