Only 3 states with 70% vaccination rate of at least one dose:
Massachusetts
Hawaii
Vermont
Hard to believe that MA was the absolute worst during the beginning of vaccination rollouts. One now has to wonder though, what’s going on with the other 47 states??
Not with all the other states, but with some, I think vaccine hesitancy is a factor.
Philip, CT has also passed the 70% vaccination rate and was actually the first state in the US to do so.
That’s good. Thanks Mark! The tv news this morning only specifically noted those 3 states. I don’t know why they left out CT.
I had heard CT was leading the pack. Maybe 70% is accurate doe here but then Baker has exaggerated more than once so ….
For not doe
Yesterday India had its worst day.
4,200 deaths
Starting tomorrow (Monday) singing will be permitted indoors at performance venues, restaurants and other businesses.
Joshua, does “singing” spread the virus further than, for example, a 5-minute speech? Or is it overkill?
Connecticut has done a better job than almost any other densely populated state, both in terms of its record on deaths per million inhabitants and vaccinations. The other New England states have done well in terms of vaccinations, but the other two densely populated states – Massachusetts and Rhode Island – have a very poor record in terms of deaths per million inhabitants. Surprisingly so, given the excellent healthcare in both states.
Philip, singing or shouting will spread the virus further than just talking.
Thank you, Joshua. That is what I had been thinking from following the states.
C-19 for 5-10 is ready.
