   Do u see Tues commute from Rt 3 south as icy? I’m trying to get my husband to spend nite in Framingham if it will be bad from here. Thanks

      I don’t see the Tuesday morning commute as a problem from the south. I think we reach lowest temps around midnight and then rise on a southwesterly wind. The snow/ice that I mentioned would be light and assuming my timing is close it would be in a relatively short window of time between midnight and a couple hours before dawn, and mostly well north and west of Boston.

2. Tonight: clear and cold lows around zero
   monday: increasing afternoon clouds highs in the low 30s
   monday night becoming cloudy lows in the low 30s rising after 3 am chance of rain late
   tuesday: rain showers in the morning cloudy afternoon highs in the low 40s
   tuesday night chance of rain showers early lows in the 20s
   wednesday and thursday mostly sunny highs in the low to mid 30s lows in the single digits
   I am not saying anything detailed after thursday but
   1; a storm glazes us with some light to moderate snows thursday night into friday is a possibility.
   2 does this storm keep another storm from sending the 540 line up into canada… which would mean 40s and possible 50s for next week.
   right now i think that a storm system will track well to the west but drag a warm front with it and warm things up for next week.

3. Wow in Green Bay…..one step closer to Super Bowl Rematch…..though these results today make me very nervous about next week. Niners, Giants and Ravens all have one thing in common…..very good defenses and offenses good enough to score plenty on Patriots….

   Well, first day of the winter that afternoon highs were seemingly a bit lower than projected. Its days like today that the high tide line is marked not by seaweed, but by a strip of ice.

      2. That would be interesting, Pats-Niners…..If the Pats can get to the Super Bowl, I think I’d hope for the Giants to get there…..

         I think what makes me nervous is that to me, the Patriots are Green Bay……. superior offense, worrisome defense and look what happened today when Green Bay ran into a balanced team.

5. The Pats are going to need everything to beat Baltimore, great defense and great rushing. All a recipe to keeping Brady off the field, do not overlook them. Btw I am the only objective one here:)

6. I have said the Ravens were the best team in the AFC and I am not back down for that so I think they win.
   NFC Giants are getting hot at the right time just like they did when they beat the Pats in Super Bowl. This is a much better Giants team now than when the played the 49ers in November. Its a little early to make a call for the Super Bowl but if you forced me to make a call I would say Ravens Giants a rematch from Super Bowl 35 in Tampa.

7. Who is John Benson and how did he get on to yout blog TK?

   2. He sent a link to another weather site (not sure how he happened upon here, but it is findable). I initially thought I had approved him when I realized I had missed doing so (this was during the time my dad was in the hospital, etc.).

      Like anyone, he is welcomed here to chat weather and give his opinion as long as it is kept civil.

         2. Tk this is the second negative thing he has said here. I agree with coastal. It was a harmless post sent to me. With the highest respect to you ,you should listen to your faithful followers here. Does not seem like a fit.

9. I think when mixing religion with anything is a mistake and opens up tough feelings so I think he was offended. I think he is a good guy just got heated about it.

   1. Hadi your a great guy but he has posted nothing on here that would make you think he is a good guy. Simply look back to his first post when TK approved him.

10. I understand everyone’s opinions. I won’t be too quick to act based on that. I know sometimes certain things will be sensitive to people.

    Believe me, if I feel that the understood guidelines are not being followed, first they will be posted, and if they are broken then swift action will follow. I will never allow this blog to turn into what some public blogs have become.

    My blog. My rules. They don’t follow them, then so long. There are children viewing this blog in the hopes of learning things about weather. I will be as fair as possible.

       1. They absolutely do. I think you misunderstood what I said.

          I realize that there can be a fine line between what is directed insult and just general anger. I didn’t see his post as being a direct insult but more of an angry reply to something that he felt offensive. If he, or anyone, started to post direct insults, and did not respond to a warning, then removal would follow.

          This blog has been several years in the making, and may be only a year old, but I will not let it turn into a place unpleasant to chat about what we like to chat about.

          1. You know how much I respect you and this blog. I thought the very first post that was directed to you was rude. I am strongly asking you to remove him from this blog.

11. To John Benson- That was a simple harmless post sent to me as a joke. I myself rely on god on a daily basis and pray multiple times a day. I tip my hat to Tbone for how he conducts himself. I did not like the post that you sent to my friend Old Salty. We do
    not talk like that here, as this is a very civil sight. I noticed this was the second negative thing that you have said to sombody here.

12. Btw I would ask anyone this, would you all have the same reaction if the post that OS put up wad about a Muslim?

    1. Hadi- It’s the second time that he has said something negative to somebody here. I know this is TKS blog, but it is the regular daily people on here everyday who make this blog what It has become. If people are going to start bashing others here, well than I’m gone. And that would be very hard as I love this blog and consider everyone here my friend.

    2. Hadi I have to think about how you are asking that question. I am constantly upset by the way we in this country treat Muslims – or many other religions. Knowing that, I believe I would still take it as a fun play on Tebow.

15. It wasn’t a religuous thing for me, it was about someone that already posted a rude comment his first post. He simply sounds like he wanted to stir the pot.

    I am not very familiar about the Muslim religion, although I know many people who are. So I guess I’m not educated enough to be offended. But if it was and it offended you then I would speak out against it.

    2. Hadi I laugh a lot at your comments because as I’ve said before they could come from me. I’ve always tried to see the best in everyone.

       I went back to read the comments from last night. First and to me most important, TK, I totally understand what you mean by this being your blog and your rules. I had a blog that blew apart a while ago because of personalities. It was in my name and as such reflected on me. I shut it down. I was very critcized for doing so but I had to do what was the best thing in my mind.

       I know we all have input and have always appreciated that. But in the long run the decision is yours and yours alone and hopefully everyone sees that it has to be that way.

       I can see why the John who posted last night reacted as he did. I just wish he’d taken the time to understand the people here and to realize that no one – most of all Old Salty – would never do anything that is insulting.

       I didn’t see anywhere that OS has left the blog – please tell me he didn’t. IMHO it would be a tremendous loss.

23. probably will not be posting for a while because of mid terms. Its cold out again this morning but warming up quicker than yesterday
