1. Merry Christmas to everyone on this side of the WHW blog. Thank you all for keeping us both updated and often ahead of our health experts when it comes to Covid.

   I’m taking yesterday and today away from covid as much as possible to focus on Christmas and family. But I will catch up on Boxing Day!

Mama Mia put it well: “Politically and philosophically we as a society choose to view health care as a consumer good rather than a human right and the intense force of the insurance lobby and the economics behind the for profit medical industry and insurance industry coupled with our near hysteria regarding anything we view as “socialized medicine” will act as insurmountable barriers to real change.”

   1. Sad but oh so true. Pretty pathetic.
      This country does not care about the health and well being of it citizenry.

      1. I spent a year working on that thesis and it darn near broke my heart back in 1998 – so sad to see that in 2021 nothing has really changed.

         However – on an unrelated note – Joshua’s compliment re my words is incredibly humbling as his own writing is so outstanding!

   Yes, I agree with Vicki take time off from this end of the WHW blog. It’s not like Covid-19 is going anywhere anytime soon, unfortunately. Sadly there will be no shortages of cases and deaths in the coming weeks and months.

      My girls are getting better.

      I tested positive this morning.

      I have a head-cold, my soar throat is gone and I´m tired. Slept a lot the last couple days. 🙂

         So sorry for you Tom. Get well soon. At least you were able to get tested with tests in such short supply.

6. Tom…I’m glad I came here. Wonderful news your girls are improving. Sadly when you said sore throat, I was mostly positive since that is what my son said first also. Prayers for you and how is Mrs Tom?

   My wife has all the symptoms I have, yet the test keeps saying negative. My test had the darkest red line possible.

   I continue to deal with a head cold, runny nose, etc.

   No issues with fully inflating my lungs at all.

8. C-19 for 12-26 is ready.
