  1. Thanks TK.

The major airlines are now demanding that President Biden lift mask mandates. The mandate is set to expire on April 18th.

    1. It was extended because the flight attendant Union (Delta is not unionized) were upset if he mandate was being lifted. As they should be. They were not only concerned about crew cut about at risk passengers, including young children.

Who do we think has the bottom line in mind and who do we think has the paying customers in mind? Shame on Biden if he not only doesn’t lift it but if he doesn’t extend it yet again

  2. Joe….Re link I posted last night…

I was pleased it covered your points also and not so pleased with the article I’d shared earlier in the day. I don’t like that we need to vaccinate kids in order to know if there are side effects. But I also think the number of kids in the test program are far greater than numbers Pfeizer has used. I need to verify that though,

  3. For the first time in 2 years and 1 day, there are no covid patients in ICU at Tufts Medical Center.

We will be hearing more and more positive statistics like that as we go forward. Sadly however that doesn’t erase a lot of the negatives statistics that could have been prevented had the country as a whole acted better from the beginning. But fingers crossed for more positivity going forward…

    1. Yes, this is a good sign.

I’m also hoping the positive news continues. Down to under 800 deaths per day nationwide. Getting closer to endemic territory.

  4. Maybe this means we are closer to dropping masking from all public transit. That would suit me just fine.

  5. Not sure about BA.2’s impact in the U.S. Will the U.S. follow the UK? If so, we would have a wave of sorts by next week. If not, we probably are on a different and more hopeful path. We shall see.

I’m keeping my eye on the UK where cases increased 10% in the past week – growth in cases is diminishing somewhat – and hospital admissions increased 16%.
