There is now a breathalyzer to test for Covid-19 with the results in just a few minutes. From what I heard, the accuracy is impeccable. No test can be 100%, can it?
Joshua, your thoughts?
Don’t know much about it. But anything is better than the nose swab. And this one provides results very quickly.
Actually, the self test nose swab is perfectly painless. You just swab each nostril 3 times or so. That was the weekly test here at work. When the pandemic first began, every day in the newspaper was a photo of some young child or adult in agony with a swab shot up the nose. Glad that I didn’t have to go through that.
I wonder if those new breathalyzers are “at home”?
You’re right. Painful is an exaggeration. My biggest issue is that I sneeze uncontrollably after every nose swab test.
Massachusetts cases definitely on the rise. Test positivity is now 3.9%, with hospitalizations increasing steadily. Still cautiously optimistic our bump won’t become a sustained wave. Clearly, though, we need to monitor.
C-19 for 4-16 is ready.
