Has everyone given up long ago wiping groceries and packages?
Also, one daughter read people who do not feel well are not seeing home test positives for two or so days
I’ve never done the wiping of groceries or packages.
I do wash my hands all the time, which in some ways can’t be good for the skin.
The Massachusetts data show continued increases in cases, test positivity, and hospitalizations (now up to 534). I’m really hoping we see a downturn soon. I had expected it to go down by now. So much for my prediction. The good news the increase is NOT a massive surge. It’s more a small wave, albeit elongated.
Globally, the pandemic is on the decline, which is good news.
We always cleaned and still clean produce and a few other items, but then we always did. While I don’t consider school positive massive, cases did double. I wonder how student positives play into general population positives
Sigh.
Boston globe headline I can’t read article
Mass. reports 2,651 new confirmed COVID-19 cases; 12 deaths reported over three days
Thanks TK.
Covid-19’s impact extends to other diseases, indeed to other pandemics. And some of these pandemics are forgotten, sadly. https://www.forbes.com/sites/joshuacohen/2022/05/03/covid-19-has-made-tuberculosis-even-more-of-a-forgotten-pandemic/
