I heard on the radio this morning that Jehovah’s Witnesses are resuming door-to-door visits after a 2 1/2 year hiatus due to Covid-19.
I personally have yet to see any in my neighborhood or come to my door. I always say “no thank you” if approached or if they ring my bell, I don’t answer.
This is long as the explanation continues in the comments. But an important read IMO. I just do not understand why there has been so little attention paid to long Covid throughout.
Vicki, I think it’s human to not want to know sometimes. We attribute this to ostriches – ostrich sticking its head in the sand. But, we often do this, especially if we don’t believe there are any short-term consequences, or these are unlikely. Although we’re curious, we often intentionally or subconsciously ignore warning signs. This is particularly conspicuous around health, I’ve found.
I agree. I can do the same myself. There have been times I stay away from this page because I’m overwhelmed. I was thinking more along the way of our media and leaders….political and health.
I’m not sure I’d wish Fauci’s job on anyone. The politics involved have to keep a decent person awake at night. I admire him for sticking with the job as long as he did
Thanks TK.
