I met Ms. Whitman on an Acela train a long time ago. An impressive person.

And by the way, we also shouldn’t forget the positive role that the federal government played in saving lives through Operation Warp Speed in 2020. I consider this a major achievement by the first Trump administration (and, as you know, I’m not a fan of his). Why we’re now tearing down the edifice that we’ve built for science (of all kinds, including climate and weather) is really so baffling to me.
On one of this mornings tv newscasts was a local doctor being interviewed about pandemics reminiscing about Covid-19 (2020) and she believes that there WILL be another pandemic…and sooner than we think!
Bird flu? Measles?
I did ck with my pcp. Having had measles, I am immune.
