After a case of the muggies, ending with a spectacular sky courtesy scattered thunderstorms in a no-haze environment late Monday, we are in for 2 comfortable days thanks to a bubble of high pressure and drier air from Canada as July concludes.
Humidity will return, though not to excess, during the first few days of August, with heat absent, but some warmth certainly in place. Interruptions to a nice weather pattern will come from a couple cold fronts passing by (Thursday night and early Friday for the first one and sometime Sunday for the other).

Thanks TK! It is an absolutely beautiful morning out there. Wish this work thing didn’t have to get in the way of me going out and enjoying it!!!
Thank you TK. I hope everyone enjoys today it’s a beauty
🙂 How are you doing Vicki??
Thanks, TK.
What a spectacular sky yesterday w/the storms – we had a few bouts of showers, some heavy w/some loud thunder at times – and a lot of the time the sun was out and it was pouring – Rainshine! 🙂
Anyway, from a spectacular sky yesterday to a spectacular day today. It’s a gem of a day and a relief, ‘though brief from the heat and humidity.
Picture perfect day
What a day! This is a top 5 summer day in my book.
Thanks
Absolutely
Classic 😉
I find it hard to believe anyone would disagree 😉
good break from the excessive humidty and the summer heat but i will be wanting the heat back for the weekend 😉
Probably not getting the heat back, though it will be on the warm side, this weekend. Signs of another bout of hot weather about 9 days into the new month…
UGH!…not that these brief bouts of humidity are much better.
I will be SOOOOOO glad when fall temps return on a permanent basis. 😀
After all this time, the NWS still has trouble forecasting diurnal cumulus. 😉
Did anyone see a faint rainbow yesterday? 🙂 I did!
Sky was gorgeous!!
And of course…that warm summer rain….
My daughter got a pic of it. Second one this week
Thanks TK!!
😀
Today is perfect 🙂
I think the brunt of summer is past, I don’t think we will get 11 days straight of 88+ degrees again this summer, I’m sure will get some hot days but the constant heat is bye bye, if Aug acts like normal Aug we will notice some cooler nights (50’s) in between milder ones, another 2-3 weeks will be the beginning of the best or my fav 12 weeks of the year 08/15-11/15 🙂

This week on Jeopardy is Kids Week featuring 10, 11 and 12 year olds.
Tonight’s game on the “Double Jeopardy” round the 3 kids totally avoided the WEATHER category. There were no categories left, so finally the first clue was revealed (the question was “What is Tornado?”) and then time ran out. 🙁
I also have to say that the “Final Jeopardy” rounds have been quite nasty so far….as an adult I had trouble with them. No one came up with the correct question…0 for 6 these past two days although one girl came close but didn’t show enough information.
Jake Peavy for Jose Iglesias in 3 team deal.
I think I like it.
