    And despite Vicki’s feelings, I HATE this kind of weather.

    IF the sun would come out, it would take some of the bite out of this Damp & Nasty Cold. Fortunately, it won’t last long. 😀

    What a Putrid, Pathetic, Piss-Poor Performance by the Bruins last night.

    It’s like it was SCRIPTED to make CERTAIN that there would be a game 7.

    I don’t like the smell of that at all.

    That was NOT the same team that played Saturday Night. HOW could they perform
    so poorly??????? I ask the question again: HOW could they perform that poorly??

    Think about it. 👿

    Sun has actually been out at times here in Sudbury – but it’s nothing like yesterday. However, with all the budding and new foliage and the angle of the sun at this time of year; it still seems not too bad – rather pretty out. Yesterday was truly summerlike – just a taste of what’s to come. I didn’t hear the wind and front come through last night ’cause I was asleep. Husband heard the wind. I don’t mind the changes in the weather – just as long as we get a decent summer with some HHH and some decent, non-destructive thunderstorms to observe and track.

    1. I wouldn’t have known either, rainshine, if we had not received a reverse 911 call at midnight for a missing man. I do not like calls in the middle of the night – they scare me half to death.

      2. Ooooo – I have heard of reverse 911 call – but they do it that late at night? I feel bad for whoever might be missing but still a call that late at night would scare the heck out of me too.

  5. Yes oldsalty I agree absolutely louzy game. Like I said last night it may put a spark in there game after loosing like that. The refs will let a lot of stuff slide tomorrow as they usually do in a game 7. I’m just not sure of the outcome here and I would never take a bet on this one because basically it’s up for grabs for whoever wants it more. Montreal has been the better team but I’m hoping for a big bruins win tomorrow.

  6. Bruins fortunate to be in a game seven. Montreal would have won this series if they did not blow that two goal lead in the third period in game seven. If you go by the percentages in second round of these playoffs team that has scored first has won all but one game so far. You could be looking at four series going 7 games if Minnesota wins tonight on home ice which they have not lost on home ice in these playoffs and if Los Angeles could win a home game in their series against Anaheim.

    2. Is it true what I heard that Montreal has lead this series by 300 min to like 75 min’s, wow!!

      1. I don’t know if that stat is true but to me for a good part of the series they have been the better team and clearly
        was the case in game six. Bruins as I said earlier fortunate to be in a game seven in this series. Canadiens to me
        after last night have the momentum going into Boston. On the other hand Bruins home for game seven. Will see
        how this plays out.

  10. Wunderground says its clear skies in Walpole but it definitely is not. I’d say mostly cloudy with a random peek of sun but thats about it. Says 56 degrees.

    1. It is pulling the ob from the automated station which was probably seeing no clouds below about 12,000 feet. It will report that as clear even if there is overcast above.

  12. Put it this way, today is better than i thought it would be up to this point anyways. Its not raining and its not in the 40s

    1. 40’s lol haven’t seen that for sometime here, currently just jumped to 62.6 degrees 🙂

  15. These back door fronts and their airmasses are rather shallow.

    Its actually milder today on top of Mt. Washington than it was yesterday.

    Its currently 48F. I’m pretty sure it was 41F at this same time yesterday.

    Ocean City, MD … 66F, gusty NE wind.

    Salisbury, MD … from what I recall, perhaps a half hour west of coastal Maryland, 91F !!!!!!!!

      On my drive from the office to Bedford and back again, the car
      thermometer read from 51 to 54. It was 54 at the Western edge of
      Woburn and Burlington/Bedford. On the way back it was 51 nearing
      the City. And it looks like it has DROPPED since then. 😆

          Initially, I have plans to attend an air show in RI on Saturday. Doesn’t look good. Remains to be seen if I will go Sunday if it’s better. It’s up in the air (double pun intended). 😉

          1. If we had a week of nice weather and then it rains, that’s one thing. But to have a week of CRAP and then have it rain is quite another thing!
