DAYS 1-5 (SEPTEMBER 14-18)…
With day 1 mostly over we’ll just count evening and night as it, and say that the day was as it was expected to be with sun and clouds and a cooler breeze and dry air as upper level low pressure crossed the region from west to east. And now, as promised, comes a high pressure ridge with fair and warmer weather for the remainder of this 5-day forecast period.
EVENING: Variably cloudy. Temperature in the 60s. Wind W 10-20 MPH.
OVERNIGHT: Clearing. Lows in the 50s. Wind W 5-15 MPH.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs around 80. Wind W 5-15 MPH.
WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY: Sunny by day. Clear by night. Lows 55-65. Highs 75-85.

DAYS 6-10 (SEPTEMBER 19-23)…
Dry pattern continues with only a weak cold front crossing the region on September 20 with a slight risk of passing showers that day, otherwise many more dry days ahead with temperatures mostly above normal, warmest likely on September 19.

DAYS 11-15 (SEPTEMBER 24-28)…
A few opportunities for showers during this period with temperatures near to above normal.

  2. Thank you TK. I love today. It is a top 10 day. But then I suspect I list about 200 top 10s. JR. said 73 is “normal” high for this time of year. I’m not hearing humidity with the increased temps, but then I wasn’t listening πŸ˜‰

    1. If there is a slightly more humid day it will be Sunday with the passage of a cold front. Next Monday looks like today, ‘cept a little more sun.

  5. I’m not a trump fan, but he is grabbing a hold of this country, I voted for Obama twice, I regret the 2nd time. Mark my words Carson or trump will win this election bc it’s just becoming to politically correct. Even us independents are fed up. πŸ™‚

      2. I am a registered independent, and I 95% of the time vote democratic. I think many are thinking the same, maybe not in a leaning left state like here, but that’s expected. There’s no way I vote for this Bernie guy, he is just the same ole same ole. My wife leans way way left, and she is also fed up. Im just so fed up, I’ll leave it at that as its a weather blog. πŸ™‚

        1. I’m a registered Democrat (like no one ever guessed that!) and I wouldn’t vote for a Republican If you put a gun to my head.

          The Republican candidates this year are a colossal joke.
          There isn’t a viable candidate among them.

          Sad to say, but Mitt Romney was the best they
          have had to offer over the past dozen years (not that I liked him in any way shape or form, but at least he
          was a real candidate)

    1. I have no idea how they considered that question relevant. And her answer? I still don’t understand it. Was there even a complete thought in it? I didn’t watch the pageant but she must have killed it in every other area to have beaten everyone else. πŸ˜›
