  1. Thank you, TK…

Hope you and everyone not feeling well are on the mend.

This morning was one of the latest sunrises of the year or any year. In fact, classes started yesterday at 7:20 and the official sunrise was at 7:21.

I am working on some trivia questions about US time and will share them with you if I can get my act together. I am also trying to avoid correcting mid-semester exams.

Enjoy a nice weekend. Go Pats! (oh yeah…bye week)…

  2. Stephen Clarke….we have not seen you in a while and I hope all is ok and that you are still reading WHW. I think it was just a year ago today that you lost your dad. I just wanted to send hugs.

  3. Still in Florida till Friday. Beautiful 80 degrees here every day so far and just a passing shower at most. Weather lady said this morning we would have “coolish” evening. Low of 64! On November 6. Perfectly normal for here. Just thought it was funny to say 64 was coolish in early November.

  4. Hi Vicki…. I played golf at a par 3 golf course yesterday. I am not the best at golf but I did something I never did in a long time and that was getting a par on back to back holes. It was almost four in row as I missed a chip shot by a foot and my putt on the next hole was hit too hard it went over the hole. I enjoy getting out there on the golf course to get some exercise and if I get one par I am happy.
When we have snow threats to track then the blog will pick up.

    1. Congrats JJ. That is great. Well done!! And you don’t have to be the best to enjoy something but you may be underestimating yourself a bit 🙂

  5. Anybody know how to locate rain totals from the NWS? I can’t find the page. Curious as to how much we picked up last night though I’m sure it was negligible. Thanks!

  6. Has something gone wrong with the blog? I see comments dated from 6 PM tonight! Is there some time travelling going on?

  7. Maybe this will wake up the blog. Just for fun
anyone see what the GFS has about a week from now…. (sunday through tuesday time period
    00zgfs and 06z gfs.
    ooz is the most bullish.
    http://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/?model=gfs&region=neus&pkg=asnow&runtime=2016110600&fh=180&xpos=0&ypos=166
The o6z has much less. Thing is that the gfs has had something around this period for a a few runs in different amounts, Looks like tailend so we all know how that goes.

      1. models are showing something around that time period, a small storm could effect the coast even if its well out to sea. It be some cool pictures
