  1. Thanks TK ! Morning light revealing some fog out there and I can see the clear sky above. I notice that Blue Hill and Worcester have the warmest temps this morning and Mt Washington is 50 plus. Have a good day all !

  2. Hey TK (or anyone else who wants to chime in), I was wondering if you could keep an eye on the weather for October 21, 22 and 23 in Keene, NH. That is the weekend of the Pumpkin Festival in which my family have gone every year since 2004. We camp in tents at Swanzey Lake Camp Ground and the weather really makes or breaks the trip. The colder weather isn’t what gets you, its the rain. We’ve experienced morning lows in the upper 20’s some years, but still had the best nights sleep. One year we experienced snow on the top of Mount Monadnock, when we arrived. Generally the foliage is past peak but some years we still get some good color. I remember in 2007 we were crammed around the can fire, trying to listen to the redsox play the Indians. Great times!

    1. Coastal thank you for that link – it looks like tons of fun. I sent it to my kids. Is it basically throughout the town or just in certain areas? How’s the parking/accessibility? Thanks again!!!!

    2. Will do! I’d go to that event, but it’s on the same day as the Southern New England Weather Conference this year…

  3. It is so much fun, classic new england at its best. It runs the length of Main Street in down town Keene. Parking can be tricky but they do have shuttle services that allow you to park and ride. My wife graduated from Keene State so she knows all the best parking spots. In the past it has become crowded during the late afternoon / early evening period. There is new management this year and they have change some things from the past that I think will really help with the elbow room.

  4. I know I have not complained much this past summer with the heat and humdity but I am tired of this humidity and hopefully we will have those cool crisp autumn days soon.

    1. JJ – I haven’t complained either and the weather today and yesterday isn’t as bad as the past weekend but I am so ready for fall weather. I never complain about cold not leaving but since summer is my least favorite season I’m ready for my very favorite!!!

      1. I’d like to keep the mild to warm afternoons, but with lower humidity, so the nights could be in the 40s to low 50s, as opposed to the 60s we’ve been getting the last several nights.

  5. Hey Jimmy…the nice crisp fall air should return this weekend into early next week, but will probably warm up once again thereafter. I suspect that much of October will have above normal temps. I am hoping though that after Columbus Day weekend, we will cool down a little more consistently.

  6. Hey Philip…. I think you might be right about that. Summer warmth is hanging tough but eventually will lose the battle.
Will see how October plays out but if it is warmer than normal that maybe a sign of what is to come for the winter.

    1. Jimmy…I would definitely say that if November ends up warm as well, a sure sign of “below” normal snowfall for the upcoming winter.

    1. Its over…..Bedard and they are trying to figure out who to pitch tomorrow night vs. Tampa’s starters of Hellickson and David Price…..

  7. TK one last question… Are you putting chances of any rain in the forecast for my trip or is it a good bet not to even bring a rain jacket? Thanks again.
