I’ve observed that he always has to have the last word …… on like, everything.
Its not an easy skill to develop, NOT getting in the last word. It takes some discipline to believe that your thought or argument is strong enough without having the last say.
He clearly does not have that particular discipline.
That’s a problem I can have. I don’t care about last word. I simply enjoy discussions. And I do try to learn from them. Not a good thing however.
So let’s see if I understand. He can blatantly lie and, when it is requested that lies be removed (about someone who lost his wife no less), he claims he is being censored. Isn’t there a legal term for deliberate lies? Yet he can shut down social media. What is the definition of censorship again?
I like his term frolicking
And that describes exactly what has been occurring.
I do also. Nice word for what I am afraid I don’t think has helped us at all.
I always felt that it was not inevitable, but alas, already there are upticks in cases throughout where reopenings have been too fast, too soon.
I think it would be a lot different if folks would just do what they are asked. And I know small businesses are struggling and am doing my best to support as many in Sutton as I can. Sadly, since I am in high risk category, I can’t go to any. But I can help with gift cards.
Also interesting report on many teachers possibly opting to not return to school
Yes, it’s going to be tricky this fall. While I think it’s important children return to school, I know it’s not going to be easy. Several small outbreaks have occurred in Holland since their schools reopened. So far, the outbreaks have been contained.
A second wave is not inevitable, though it is probable.
Let’s get rid of the first wave first. We’re doing okay in many states, but some states are showing signs of regression (more cases, more hospitalizations).
I have a feeling we’ll have a very, very long wave with ups and downs. No second or third wave per se, just an elongated first wave.
Agree that we need to wait for first. I took this as wise worst of warning.
I’m not clear on holland. Were the outbreaks among school children, teachers, or general public
Thanks, Joshua
Several schools reported small outbreaks, mostly children, but a few teachers, too. About 25 in all. So far, most have not shown symptoms, but one person has been hospitalized. Also, a hospital that had reopened for non Covid care had an outbreak. Two patients who did not have Covid-19 now have it. One is now in the ICU.
All goes to show reopening will need to move cautiously. There will be hiccups.
Thank you. And your last paragraph is spot on.
